Royal Caribbean has long been known to produce the most unusual, state of the art and exciting cruise ships sailing the seven seas. Once again they have pushed the envelope to provide cruisers with even more unique and exhilarating innovations on board a cruise ship. Their Oasis class of ships that have been sailing for just a few short years, are still considered two of the most unique, innovated and creative cruise ship in the world. I am sure they had to sit down and think long and hard on how to top their extremely popular Oasis of the Seas & Allure of the Seas.
Their brand new Quantum of the Seas will be introducing cruisers to a whole new way to look at cruising. For hundreds of years cruising was about getting to several destinations on a short period of time. Many used cruise ships solely as a mode of transportation. With the introduction of the Oasis class of ships Royal Caribbean changed how people looked at cruising and jumped right into creating their ships as the main attractions and the destinations secondary. They have continually sought after the WOW factor and again with the introduction of their newest cruise ship they have set the cruise industry in awe.
I wasn’t sure if I would really enjoy such big ships that offer so many events onboard but instead of being overwhelmed when I cruised on the Allure of the Seas, I was truly amazed and entertained. Even as Royal Caribbean has set the bar high for other cruise lines, they have created their own niche in the cruising market. They have aimed and have reached a truly amazing experience for all customers on board any of their ships. Their innovations complement their cabins, the décor, the level of entertainment they have on board plus their great dining experiences.
I know I will be looking forward to setting sail on the Quantum of the Seas when it is brought into service in the fall of 2014. I’ll be adding more details of what the ships will have to create that WOW for the cruising public.
