As travel returns to post 2020 travel numbers, there are still many questions travelers have about travelling right now.

Airfares are high and that is due to the cost of crude oil.

But there are still low airfares to be found, with a little work you won’t have to suffer exorbitant costs to fly anywhere!

Here are a few tips to help you find the best price possible for your next trip.

1. Have a favorite airline? Sign up for their sale emails. This will give you an idea when they have certain dates going on sale and what to expect those fares to be. Don’t just sign up for one airline, sign up for a few, so you can get comparisons.

2. Remember, the airlines do not allow anyone to guarantee an airfare until a ticket is issued. All fares are subject to change without notice until the air ticket is purchased. Most air fares quoted will be non-refundable unless you’ve requested fully refundable air fares.

3. If you are searching for air fares, be aware that your webpages will remember what you have looked at in the past, so as you search again and again, the airline websites will remember your IP address. So clear the cookies after each time you search, then your past search will not be remembered and will show you the lowest price.

4. Of course, I will always recommend you use a travel agent to help you search for your air fare or any travel you want to take for that matter. We have access to back-office programs that can search for lower fares, if they are available. We will contact you immediately when a fare drops to where you want them to be at.

If you want to use a similar program by yourself, check out www.airfarewatchdog.com

Here is a company that sells air that offers deals too and are very reliable. Especially if you are traveling to a popular vacation spot. I’ve used them for my clients for 30+ years www.airbypleasant.com

There are other websites for consolidator tickets, but BEWARE these tickets are very restrictive (such as if you don’t use it, you’ll lose it!). One such company is www.flightforall.com

Trends don't predict that airfare prices Will Come Down any time soon.

So, it is best to be prepared to expect costs to be 20% – 30% higher than they were in 2021.

Those low prices with the deep discounts just aren’t in the cards right now, so be prepared.

Do your homework and use all the best tools you can to find that low airfare you are seeking.

With all these tips, it could still take you hours and hours to search for the best rates out there,

so using a travel agent is your best bet to not only save you money, but also save you lots & lots of time searching, that’s what you pay us for!

Our fee for airfares only is $35.00 per person. Consider this, if you earn $24.00 an hour and it takes you 6 hours over time to find an airfare you are happy with, that’s $144.00 vs. our fee of $70.00 for two people.

It doesn’t matter how long it take us to find you the lowest air fare possible, we charge you just that one fee per person.

Ask yourself, do you have 6, 8, 10 hours to search for low airfares? If you do, then all the power to you.

If you are like most busy people, you don’t have that much time to spend on something like this, so let us take that task off of your plate.

It will be just one more item you don’t have to worry about.
